happy thanksgiving!

i'm THANKFUL for :: (...and in no particular order)

joe, jacob, robyn, josiah, Jesus Christ, TOMS, photography, apples, Starbucks, gear that works, dianne (my running buddy), our home, iPads, dads who are just figuring out iPads, miracles, laughter, missionaries, sunshine, bus drivers, God's Word, my church, my family, busy seasons, singing, Mom2Mom, my eyesight, turkey dinners, long weekends, Second Cup, lobster, my clients, photographs, ears to hear, my MarkII, peers in the industry, Instagram, a healthy heart, babies, grammy's pool, our kids' school, tears, technology, mentors in my life, the colours of fall in the maritimes, a God Who heals and restores, my in-laws' dairy farm, healthy kids, prayer, friends who let me use their property for sessions, cows, running water, friends who keep me accountable, butter, sunsets, jeans that fit, the volunteers who serve in the kids' ministry at my church, not just 1 but 2 vehicles, good food, tastebuds for said food ;), worship, an upcoming first-time-ever trip to Women of Faith, the expression(s) of clients when they first see their photos, great neighbours, amazing teachers this year for my kids...  my list could go on and on...

what are you thankful to God for?!

mareika & jesse | moncton wedding sneak peek

i'm in the middle of finishing up another wedding.  still TONS of sessions to edit.  but i just HAVE to stop and give a sneak peek to mareika & jesse.  these high school sweethearts got married this past weekend, and oh myyyyy...  their day was just so.magical.  i was THRILLED to be a part of it.

sweet baby lana | moncton newborn photography

 
i posted a peek of lana's newborn session quite a while ago...and jenna & luc have been so patient.  thanks so much, you guys.  i ADORE your baby girl and getting to spend this time with you was so completely sweet.  thank you.  (and thanks for the 'baby FIX' too.)  ;)

5x12 project | catching up

ok.  confession time.  i have been so bad at getting our 5x12s taken and posted.  :(

truth is...  july's never happened.  well...i shouldn't say that.  we spent lots of time together as a family.  but there was a lot going on as well.  i was in the thick of wedding season...  joe had to travel quite a bit, so we tagged along on a few trips...  PLUS (and this is big...) july was HOTTTTTTTTTTTT.  and it was tough getting anything done with the kids around and them wanting to go somewhere to cool off (most of the time, the pool at the farm...which we are VERY thankful for).  we spent lots of time together as a family...but never got around to the actual 5x12.

august.  we did better.  i took some portraits of my sister & her family while on vacation up in fredericton...and i got my BIL, stephen, to take a picture for us!  actually, SEVERAL pictures...for which i/we are very thankful!  love ya, steve-oh!  xo!

...and september (because let's face it...it's september 27th...just about that time...)  ;)  our friends, andrew & lisa, invited us out on their boat...and they treated us to a picnic on the beach in cocagne.  what a spectacular day (this past saturday!) so while i was taking some family portraits for them...i got Lisa to snag a few of us.  :D  thank you, lisa!!!!  you did a great job!


anyhoo...  without further ado...  ;)  haha.  who's excited?  ;D

it was so great meeting up with murray & natalie...and their kids and grandkids!  (...still can't wrap my brain around that!  MUR!!!  NAT!!!  you're GRANDPARENTS!!!).  haha.
